PRESENTATIONS

Accessibility Services, Inc. has gathered a wealth of knowledge and experience from years of working with individual with disabilities.  Some of this information has been distilled and organized into three Microsoft PowerPoint presentations which have been given to over 60 professional, business, and service organizations.   Below are the titles and an abstract of each presentation.

Many enjoy their home for a lifetime through the application of Universal Design.  This kitchen could be easily used by anyone regardless of their age, size, shape, or physical ability.  Time 45-60 minutes.

Homes can maintain their residential decor even if they must be  redesigned or equipped for people with special needs.  This disabled person is being moved effortlessly in a very attractive home.  CEU credits for PT, OT, & SW.  Time 45-60 minutes.

The typical home built in the U. S. is designed for a young, active, adult, male.  Barriers in the home  that were once just an inconvenience can become deadly and must be eliminated. Time 30-45 minutes.
